River to the Sea
An Exhibition of Glass and Paintings by Lucy Chamberlain and Andrea LaHue
May 5 – May 26, 2017
Artists Reception: Friday, May 5, 2017, 7pm – 9 p.m.

Burbank, CA: The Burbank Creative Arts Center is pleased to welcome artist Lucy Chamberlain and Andrea LaHue for their May exhibition, entitled River to the Sea.  The artist reception is Friday, May 5, 2017 from 7 to 9 pm, and will continue through May 26th.

Having known each other for over 20 years, artists Lucy Chamberlain and Andrea LaHue have long looked forward to a combined exhibition.  The celebration of nature is at the core for both Chamberlain, a glass artist and LaHue, a painter.  Illustrious flowers, natural forms, light and movement come to mind.  What might be found and fed by a river, on its way to becoming the sea, are explored and illuminated in this exhibition.  Both Chamberlain and LaHue tapped into a familiar channel of natural wonder and have masterfully expressing themselves in their respective mediums.

Burbank Creative Arts Center: Already known as the media capital of the world, Burbank bursts onto the scene as a colorful, cultural arts destination for all ages! The goals are simple: to introduce and support cultural arts, provide quality art experiences, and offer exciting arts friendly venues and businesses for every generation. Burbank Arts is a vibrant online destination for arts-related organizations to keep art lovers and explorers aware of current cultural events and for businesses to promote related activities and services.
