This is a nice article from Artsy about the Photo taken this week of some of the female Los Angeles Artists.
Unfortunately, large pockets of female artists living and working in Los Angeles, some with focus on Street Art, murals and photography, did not hear about the event. I am pretty hooked into the art scene here in LA and did not get word until an hour after it started, from a male artist, posting on facebook. Imagine if we all came out. There would be thousands.
